Joel has been honored to gain wisdom from a diverse blend of teachers, including Priests, Pastors, Gurus, and Reiki Masters, Native American Medicine Women, and Shamanic Masters from Peru, Bolivia, and Puerto Rico. He is certified as a Shamanic Practitioner through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies.​
